We are currently seeking a Valet Attendant/Bellman to join our team at Calamigos Guest Ranch and Beach Club located on the beautiful Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, CA. Our 53 private luxury Cottages, Bungalows, and Estate Rooms are designed across almost 200 acres in the rugged elevated mountains above Malibu. With over 75 years of hospitality in the Santa Monica Mountains we strive to create an experience our guests will never forget.
Responsibilities for Valet
- Greet and welcome guests to the property and offer professional valet services
- Accommodate guests by opening doors and assisting with luggage or other heavy items
- Direct traffic in the parking area as needed and assist guests in entering and leaving the parking lot
- Answer guests' questions regarding local attractions, hotel amenities and other available services
- Collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests to ensure their proper return
- Park guests' vehicles
- Shuttle guests around the property and to The Beach Club in our house cars.
- Operate vehicles safely and responsibility
- Assist guests with luggage to/and from rooms.
Qualifications for Valet
- Proven safe driver and clean driving records is essential
- Ability to communicate professionally
- Customer service experience and friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a standing position for hours at a time
- Ability to multitask and tend to several customers at once
- Experience driving vehicles with both manual and automatic transmission
- Organizational skills are necessary to quickly recall the location of vehicles and their appropriate keys
