The Office of Public Prosecutions (OPP) is an independent statutory authority responsible for preparing and conducting criminal prosecutions in Victoria on behalf of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP). Matters prosecuted by the DPP and the OPP involve serious crimes or matters that are of significance to the fair and effective operation of the Victorian criminal justice system. The OPP consists of the Solicitor for Public Prosecutions and a staff of approximately 465 providing legal and corporate support to the DPP, the Chief Crown Prosecutor and Crown Prosecutors in the exercise of their independent roles in the criminal justice system.

The Office of Public Prosecutions (OPP) has an exciting opportunity for a motivated graduate who is looking for the opportunity to development their skills in a true entry level Human Resources role.
As part of a small HR administrative team, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient delivery of HR services for the organisation by providing general administrative assistance, which includes responding to day-to-day enquiries, payroll processing, preparation of correspondence, coordination of HR systems and processes and support to the L&D and Recruitment functions.
About the Role:
- Manage the paperless administrative processes for the Recruitment function, including advertising vacancies, coordination of interviews, preparing interview guides, reference checking etc.
- Administer HR related documentation and correspondence including, but not limited to: employment contracts, correspondence and other HR documentation.
- Provide accurate and timely advice to both internal and external stakeholders on a range of HR related queries.

- have an enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn.
