Event manager [Norway]


 

Olearys Bardufoss and Bardufoss Hotel are looking for an event manager (100%)

The event manager is ultimately responsible for ensuring marketing activities and bookings at both the restaurant and the hotel. The event manager is part of the hotel and restaurant's management team. The position entails 50% in operations, in our à la carte operation, evenings and weekends. 50% is administration. Among other things, the event manager is responsible for:

  • Preparing the restaurant’s marketing plan and updating it continuously

  • Developing and implementing strategies for driving additional sales, e.g. organizing relevant activities and offers at the restaurant and the hotel

  • Actively working towards the goals of the Board

  • Providing regular plans and reports to the immediate manager

  • Help to ensure annual performance

  • Ensuring that information about the screening of games, events, and offers is routinely passed on to the staff and to the public through social media

  • Organizing bookings of meeting rooms and lunch for the hotel.

  • Assist hotel guests with bookings and check-ins

  • Assist in the restaurant where needed, e.g. by serving food or doing dishes.

  • Ensure compliance with Norwegian alcohol legislation, specified on the restaurant’s alcohol license

  • Always ensuring that operations deliver a top-notch guest experience


Workhours: Weekdays and weekends.
